Memorial Day

Memorial Day weekend is always a huge weekend on the Crystal Coast.  It is the unofficial kick off to summer and people flock to the coast and enjoy the beach, boats, and the fishing.  We were amongst the fleet the last couple of days with fishing going from one end of the spectrum to the other.  Saturday was extremely slow for most of the boats, us included.  We fished a color change with a grass line, and 1.5 degrees of temperature change for 15 miles and only managed a few bites.  Yesterday the fishing picked back up.  We had a nice catch of Gaffer dolphin that kept the guys busy most of the day.  I also heard of a couple of Wahoo in the mix and some smaller Blackfin Tuna.  We have plenty of open days this week and the weather looks phenomenal!  I also have a group that is looking for 3 more to fill the boat any day this week, so drop me a line and see if we can put it together.  Enjoy your Memorial Day and remember to give thanks for those that made the ultimate sacrifice defending our Country and freedom!  Tight Lines and Happy Hunting
